We wanted a large home with rooms for multiple family members, with large kitchen and eating areas.

Berrima Retreat did not disappoint, and gave us everything we wanted and more.

The Retreat helped make mums 80th birthday celebrations a wonderful success, and one we can look back on with fond memories.

Our stay at Berrima Retreat was enjoyable because it’s something our family of 30 hadn’t ever done before. Some of us hadn’t been under the same roof since leaving our parents home 30 years ago so it’as adults we’ve now captured some memorable moments. Everyone was comfortable with how big and beautiful the property is. There was more than enough room for everyone with so many chill out spaces for all the kids and suited all age ranges. Being able to bring my fur baby on our stay with us made it extra special. We’d go for walks on the property any chance we got, he absolutely loved it. The kids never got bored they always had something to do, whether it was playing volley ball or movie time in the big and comfortable media room.

We were incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to all be together again. Especially given the barriers that come with living in the pandemic. Everything we needed was on-site and we didn’t need to leave. My 2 year old is still talking about the pool and the large trampoline. But what really made it special was the animal feeding.

Berrima retreat is a perfect place for large family get togethers. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Overall a wonderful experience, we’ll stay here again.

Host Ric was very accommodating and was very quick to respond to our questions. Having Ric around to address any issues made the stay even better.

The place is well set up for kids with good facilities incl swimming, basketball, volleyball, trampoline and top it all with a kangaroo jumper. We enjoyed playing pool and table tennis too.

Spacious rooms well stocked up in the big kitchen. Outdoors was well kept with pool jumping pillow spread out lawn. Sheep and alpacas feeding entertained our little ones. Overall an awesome retreat for a big group.

We stayed at Berrima with our nearest and dearest to celebrate my wife’s birthday! The accommodation was perfect for us! We had 15 adults, 11 children and 3 dogs and there was plenty of space for multiple families to hang out together but also have their own areas. There were lots of things for the kids to do, the dogs enjoyed the open space and the kids enjoyed feeding the animals and swimming. We can’t wait to organise another get together there soon!

We have just returned from one amazing stay at this beautiful retreat.

We are a large family and we were looking at many properties to accomodate us for my mother in laws 80th birthday celebration.

The moment we made contact with Ric we knew this was the place for us.He was very helpful in answering any enquiries and questions we had.

The entire home is just beautiful with everything you could possibly need.

The facilities are gorgeous with beautiful touches.

i would have to say that the grounds were well kept with so much seating,pool,fire pit,large BBQ area and every other activity that keept us all entertained and the children very happy.

If you are looking for a beautiful home in the Southern Highlands then i would say this would have to be the place.

Great house in beautiful Berrima. A great house for large groups and for kids too. We stayed with family, loved the pool, games room (especially the table tennis). Great big table in the kitchen living area allowed us all to enjoy meals together. Great music system too so we enjoyed a night of dancing in the Friday night. All beds comfortabl.

Thank you to the hosts for the goodies basket. Will be back.

We stayed here with our whole extended family for our nieces wedding. House was so comfortable for all of us- must make special mention that EVERY bed in the house was comfortable. My daughters aged 10 and 12 even commented- as they are usually stuck on an uncomfortable sofa bed on group holidays.

Loads for the kids to do- jumping pillow and games room were both very popular.

Great place and great communication from the owner- from start to end.

We booked BR for some milestone celebrations with our friends and their families over the weekend. The property is situated on a farm with ample place for kids to play with fantastic play areas. A massive sand pit , the kangaroo jumping, the delightful pool and surprise, surprise a small dam with kayaks ! There were even farm animals, a massive outdoor chess board, a fantastic pizza oven and barbie! The game room and the media room were to die for!! The kids were sorted and completely taken care of. As for the adults, we had all the couples sorted in their own honeymoon bedrooms and all kids in 2 big bedrooms. Boys separate, girls separate! The beautiful sun room and the massive dining room were the heart of the common area for us adults. Warm, inviting, clean and modern this property was a huge hit with all young and old. A must stay for a large group, it is indeed one of our best Stayz! Highly recommend. Ric was an absolute gem. Calm, collected and thorough! Felt like he was family. THANK YOU so much for making our special milestones even more special as we were celebrated my husband’s 55th, my 50th and our 25th wedding anniversary all in one!!

With 11 kids aged from 8 to 3 months, we needed someone to stay that had quiet spaces for he babies but plenty of things to do for the toddlers and kids. The property was perfect and everyone had a great time. Looks like this might become an annual event thanks to the wonderful and thoughtful touches by Ric and the team.
